Nearly 100 percent of dog owners consider their pups to be members of the family finds a study. The nationwide survey sponsored by SpotOn Virtual Smart Fence found 98 percent of pet owners see their dogs as family members.

50 percent of dog owners say their furchild sleeps with them in the master bedroom. And apparently, dog parents are becoming so-called “helicopter” parents with their furkids. 82 percent of dog owners said they are worried about their dog’s safety when their pup is out of sight and 56 percent said they expect their doggy babysitter to send them texts or photos when they are watching the pets.
