Seniors Will Embrace Technology to Live More Independent Lives

Seniors will embrace technology in the future so they can live more independent lives, finds a Consumer Technology Association study.

The survey found 64 percent of seniors were ready to learn about and use safety and smart monitoring technology. 61 percent would adopt technology in order to live more independent lives.

Three-quarters of seniors said they would need help with learning how to use new technology and about the same percentage said new technology is too expensive.
