Volkswagen to End Production of Beetle in 2019

Volkswagen is killing the Beetle in 2019. The German automaker said it will release two special models of the iconic car for its final year.

The popularity of the Beetle has been dwindling, with only about 15,000 of them being sold in the U.S. in 2017.

The very first Beetles were released in 1938, so it’s been generations, but, the President of Volkswagen Group of America did say “Never say never”, so we may see a revival of the Beetle in the future.
