West Hollywood City Council Calls For Removal of Trump's Walk of Fame Star

The West Hollywood City Council unanimously approved a resolution calling for the removal of President Donald Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The resolution says it should be removed “due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country.”

The star is the property of Los Angeles though, not West Hollywood - so the move is mostly symbolic - city leaders say they are urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the star.
