Update: Police have identified the Toronto shooter as Faisal Hussain, according to Sky News. The victims are a 10-year-old girl and 18-year-old student Reese Fallon.

Two people were killed and 13 injured after a gunman fired into packed Toronto cafes and restaurants, before losing his life in a gun battle with police Sunday.

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit said at around 10 p.m. a man walking along Danforth Avenue fired shots at people, several times. Officers exchanged gunfire with the 29-year-old man. He then fled and was found dead on Danforth.

No word yet on what the motive was, but CBS News reports a law enforcement official said there is no indication that it was terrorism-related.
