Papa John’s Stock Soars After Founder Resigns For Using N-Word

Papa John’s stock soars after its founder John Schnatter stepped down as chairman of the company in the wake of reports he used the N-word during a conference call.

On Wednesday, Schnatter apologized for using the racial slur during a media relations training call. The training call was in regards to his comments on the National Football League’s leadership over the national anthem protests by players.

The stock was up more than 10% Thursday morning
