Trump and Kim in Singapore for Historic Meeting
President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un have both arrived in Singapore to prepare for their historic meeting on Tuesday. The North Korea-United States summit will mark the first meeting between a sitting U.S. President and North Korean leader.
Trump tweeted “Great to be in Singapore, excitement in the air!” Kim already spent some time being a tourist, with pictures surfacing of him taking in the sights -- here he is at the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay with Singaporean officials.
A U.S. official told Fox News Trump will meet one-on-one with Kim at the beginning of the summit with translators before they bring their advisors into the meeting. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Advisor John Bolton will join Trump. The summit will take place at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island, Singapore.
