North Korea Suspends Talks With South Korea, Warns US
North Korea has suspended talks with South Korea that were planned for Wednesday, and warned the United States about the North Korea-U.S. summit in light of U.S.-South Korea military exercises.
As we brought to you earlier, President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un planned to hold the first-ever U.S.-North Korea summit on June 12 in Singapore.
North Korea’s state news agency, KCNA, said the U.S. and South Korea are teaming up to “win the air."
“The U.S. will have to think twice about the fate of the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea]-U.S. summit now on high agenda before a provocative military racket against the DPRK in league with the south Korean authorities. We will closely watch the ensuing behavior of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities.”
