Starbucks Overhauls Bathroom Policy

Starbucks is overhauling its bathroom policy - Chairman Howard Schultz said they will now open their bathrooms to everyone, whether they’ve bought anything or not. The move comes on the heels of intense public backlash following the arrest of two African-American men at a Philadelphia location.

The New York Daily News reports Schultz said, "We don't want to become a public bathroom, but we're going to make the right decision a hundred percent of the time and give people the key because we don't want anyone at Starbucks to feel as if we are not giving access to you to the bathroom because you are less than."
