Romaine Lettuce E. coli Outbreak Worsens

The romaine lettuce E.Coli outbreak has worsened, with fourteen more people getting sick from eight states in just two days. According to the CDC, three more states  - Mississippi, Tennessee and Wisconsin - have reported ill people from romaine lettuce.

In total, 98 people from 22 states have been infected with E.coli from romaine lettuce as of April 26, 2018. The CDC says the romaine lettuce making people sick is from the Yuma, Arizona growing region. They warn you to not eat or buy romaine lettuce until you can confirm it is not from the Yuma area. If you don’t know what’s in a salad mix, it’s safer to not eat it.
