Rex Tillerson Calls For 'Kindness' in a 'Mean-Spirited Town' During Farewell Remarks

Outgoing Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, didn’t mention President Donald Trump by name during his farewell speech to the State Department, but he did urge kindness and treating others the way you want to be treated. 

He said, “This can be a very mean-spirited town, but you don’t have to choose to participate in that.”

President Trump announced Tillerson’s removal on Twitter last week after months of speculation of his firing.
