Kavanaugh Hires First Supreme Court All-Female Law Clerk Team
Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed on Saturday, and was already on the job Sunday, preparing for arguments with his all-woman law clerk team, a first for the Supreme Court.
The New York Times reports one of his clerks, Kim Jackson, worked for him on the appeals court. The other three women - Shannon Grammel, Megan Lacy and Sara Nommensen - worked for other appeals court judges.
Those against Kavanaugh’s confirmation said the move doesn’t undo the damage left by his confirmation meetings.
