Dog Owners Prefer Bigger Dogs, Survey Finds

Small dogs have their positives - you can fit them in a purse, you can carry them in your arms, you don’t have to feed them as much as bigger dogs and their poops are smaller, but despite all that, dog owners prefer bigger dogs.

According to a RightPet survey, dog owners are happier owning large dogs than small dogs. The reason? Dog owners say larger dogs are more emotionally stable, child-safe, and don’t bark as much as the smaller variety.

The study was conducted online between 2010 and 2018. Nearly 12,200 pet owners from 106 countries participated in the survey.
