Donald Trump's Highest and Lowest Approval Ratings By State
President Donald Trump’s approval rating is 38% in the U.S., but by individual states, his highest approval rating was 61% in West Virginia -- with his lowest being 26% in Vermont, according to a Gallup poll.
Trump averaged the lowest first-year approval rating of any president in the poll’s history. Trump averaged 50% or higher in 12 states, including West Virginia, Wyoming, Tennessee and North and South Dakota. His lowest ratings, including Vermont, were Massachusetts at 27%, California at 29% and Hawaii at 29%.
