North Korea Successfully Launches Another Missile
North Korea successfully launched a mid-to-long range ballistic missile on Sunday. Reuters reports North Korea said on Monday they would continue launches “any time, any place.”
The New York Times reports the missile took off from Kusong, on the northwest side of the country, and traveled more than 430 miles. It landed in the sea between North Korea and Japan, according to a statement from the South Korean military.
The Associated Press reports Kim Jong Un said his weapons could strike the United States. Meantime, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking in China, said the missile tests were unacceptable, but also added world leaders should negotiate and talk to North Korea, rather than threaten it
