Breast Implants Can Cause Rare Cancer, FDA Says

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration says women can develop a rare form of cancer following breast implants. The FDA says the condition is called breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma and happens more often with textured breast implants. The FDA says out of 231 reports on the cancer with implant surface information, 203 were reported to be textured and 28 were smooth implants.
