SpaceX Will Fly Two People Around the Moon

SpaceX has announced they will fly two people around the moon next year.

SpaceX says they were approached by two citizens, not astronauts, who have already put money down towards a private moon mission.

They will be launched from the Kennedy Space Center near Cape Canaveral off the same launch pad used by the Apollo. They'll travel in the Dragon 2 spacecraft, launched by a Falcon Heavy rocket.

No word on who these unnamed individuals are, but SpaceX says after they undergo health and fitness tests more information will be released about who they are. SpaceX also expects more flight teams to sign-up.
