Three Suspects, Two Women, Arrested in Kim Jong-nam Assassination
Malaysian police have arrested a third suspect in the assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's half brother, Kim Jong-nam. Kim Jong-nam died after he was sprayed with poison at the Kuala Lumpur airport when he went to check-in for his flight to Macau.
The Washington Post reports the third person is the boyfriend of an Indonesian woman who was detained earlier on Thursday. She is believed to be one of two women who are responsible for the murder. We told you on Wednesday a woman with a Vietnamese passport was arrested in connection to the attack after she was identified on surveillance video. Reuters reports South Korean lawmakers say they suspect the women were North Korean agents.
