Russia, Turkey Accuse U.S. of Helping ISIS
Russia and Turkey have separately accused the United States of helping ISIS.
The Associated Press reports the Russian military said the U.S helped ISIS launch attacks against Syrian troops. The Russian Defense Ministry spokesman said “support and flirting with terrorists by the U.S. colleagues is the main obstacle preventing the complete destruction of the IS in Syria,” according to the AP.
Al Jazeera reports the Turkish President said U.S.-led forces support the Islamic State and Kurdish groups People’s Protect Units and the Democratic Union Party. The President said they had confirmed evidence in pictures, photos and video.
