Donald Trump and Mexican President Will No Longer Speak Publicly About Border Wall
U.S. President Donald Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto had a hour long phone call and they've decided they will no longer continue their public argument about who will pay for the U.S. - Mexico border wall.
Politico reports Trump and Peña Nieto's phone call lasted for about an hour and Trump described it as a "very, very friendly call." The call happened less than 24 hours after Peña Nieto cancelled an in-person meeting with Trump at the White House planned for next week.
NBC News reports the Presidents agreed they will no longer speak publicly about the issue, but did not provide any information as to what the plan is for the wall -- according to a Mexican government statement.
