Megyn Kelly to Leave Fox News for NBC News

Fox news anchor Megyn Kelly will leave Fox News for a new role at NBC News.

The New York Times reports NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack offered Kelly a triple role. She will host her own daytime news program, anchor a Sunday night news show and take regular part in NBC's special political programming and big-event coverage.

The Hill reports "The Kelly File" is the second-most watched show on cable news, behind Fox's "O'Reilly Factor."

Variety reports Lack said in a prepared statement NBC News is lucky to have her.

Kelly is a 12-year veteran of Fox.
