German forces have been on alert since Monday’s knife attack in Bavaria, which was claimed by ISIS.
This attack has yet to be claimed by the Islamic State but a German newspaper has tweeted that the police have no indications of this attack being linked to the terrorist group at this time.
According to the BBC an elite border security unit called GSG9 is heading to Munich to help in the search and bringing several helicopters.
