Kalamazoo, Michigan Shooter Identified And To Be Charged For Murder

The suspect in the Kalamazoo, Michigan shooting rampage this weekend is expected in court today. Jason Brian Dalton, an Uber driver, was arrested Saturday evening after shooting eight people and killing six in what officials at this point can only claim are completely random acts of violence.

One shooting was at an apartment complex, another at a car dealership, then the last in front of a Cracker Barrel restaurant. At the end of the day six people were dead, including a father and son, and two were left critically wounded, one being a fourteen year old girl with reports saying its a miracle she survived.

Dalton, arrested thankfully without incident, will likely be charged with six counts of murder, two counts of assault with intent to commit murder and eight charges of using a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Dalton also reportedly picked up passengers between attacks, one telling law enforcement that the driver took a phone call then began speeding and running stop signs. Police are looking into this as they are still searching for some thread of a motive behind the deadly shootings.
