Gatlinburg, Tennessee Wildfire Death Toll Rises To 7
As wildfires continue to spread in Tennessee so does the death toll. Officials say now seven people have died.
On Wednesday rescue workers got a break when the area was drenched with rain. But, now rescue workers have to deal with mud and rockslides. The Washington Post reports Park Superintendent Cassius Cash says the first wildfires were "likely to be human-caused."
Gatlinburg Mayor Mike Werner told residents, "we're going to be okay."
