In a recent New York Times article, it was pointed out that recent surveys and analysis of hospital date indicates that there are huge cost and billing differences between hospitals on what are essentially the same services. What accounts for these often times 400% differences in medical billing for services and what is the impact for trial lawyers looking to resolve medical liens and payments for their claimants?
